Maximise Occupancy

SwimSoft Feature:
Preferences & Waiting List

Keep your classes full by having prospective clients on a waiting list. Make note of these people’s class preferences so that, as soon as the space best suited for the client opens up, you can put them in it. To further this, you can also have a look at what spaces will be opening up in the future and work on filling these spaces before it is open. You may also want to combine classes which are not full to make one full class and create a new class in this space to accommodate those on your waiting list.

Method:

Inclusion & Affordability

SwimSoft Feature:
Price Matrix & Membership Types

Make swimming more accessible for low-income families by having a course with a lower cost and an accompanying membership type. Run swimming lessons at ‘Off Peak’ times at a lower price during the quieter periods to maximise your income from your pool hire. You may also want to set up alternating fortnightly classes. This allows you to have the same income, double the number of children learning to swim, and parents to only pay half. On the other hand, you may also want to run smaller classes with fewer students at a high cost.

Method:

Financial Security

SwimSoft Feature:
MOR Money

A surefire way to ensure you keep on top of your business finances is by making sure you have received payment before they get into the pool. Do this by taking payments in advance to ensure time for late or bounced collections to be accounted for. You may also want to ask for deposits to secure a client’s space on the course. Setting up to take payments via Direct Debit removes the hassle and stress of chasing each client for payment and then having to follow up if it fails.

Method:

Maximise Retention

SwimSoft Feature:
Progress & Awards

The best way, we have found, to keep clients coming back is by working on a swimmer's improvement with them and involving them in their own progress. Giving in-depth feedback encourages the student’s engagement, keeping things engrossing. You can also make classes less frequent to avoid a repetitive outlook on classes. Having higher levels of swimmers only have classes fortnightly can result in students appreciating the lessons more, keeping them swimming for longer.
